Carl Peverall is a multi-media artist living on the South Toe River near Celo, NC. He is known for his raku ceramics, metalwork and painting. For him, working directly from nature has been a lifelong passion that inspires all his work whether it be representational or abstract. Pastel is his plein air medium of choice for its traveling convenience and immediacy. Carl's landscape work has a fresh, expressionistic quality while still honoring the essential character of the chosen site and moment.
