I am Julia Thompson, and I am the owner of Visual Dialogue. I am actively engaged in fine art, graphic design, technical illustration, decorative painting and portrait art. Since 1990 I have been accepting commissions for portraits, caricatures, graphic design projects, logos, signs, large scale greeting cards, illustrations and murals. (The samples below show only some of the portraits.) I also provide private instruction for motivated and gifted children.
I am a former student of the Terry Art Institute in Miami, and received a Bachelor of Arts, in Coconut Grove, Florida. I've done private study with E.A. Roure of Miami and Joseph Perrin, Professor Emeritus, University of Georgia.
I've been a technical Illustrator for LTV and Bendix Corporations at the Kennedy Space Center, Titusville, Florida.
One of my portraits, "Pallas Athene" on permanent exhibit at the Ft. McClellan Army Museum in Anniston, Alabama.
Many of my portraits and illustrations are in private collections throughout the southeast. I have forty years of experience with various media including computer graphics.
