From Winter Star Studio, in the Black Mountains of Western North Carolina, I paint in several mediums; oils, acrylics, watercolors and gouache with pen & ink. My love of dogs has become my specialty or niche in painting dog portraits and dog characters.

Custom commissions are welcome. If you are interested in having a portrait of your special companion, I will need you to furnish your favorite pictures, preferably, a profile and front view. Prices are based on the size of the painting and an additional cost of $75.00 for each additional animal in the drawing. Other items added to the same painting may cost more. I will donate 5% of the commission fees received to the Yancey County Animal Shelter.
