Randall Honeycutt, an artist, is a native of Mitchell County. He has lived in the South Toe River area of Yancey County for twenty six years with his wife, Teresa, and their two daughters, Tanya and Heather, and grandson Tyler.

As a painter he has always felt that the ability to put down on canvas what he sees is a blessing from God. Randall says that he is still learning in the area of painting on canvas, which is something that all can aspire to, but his method for detail in his work is rather impressive to an amateur as well as a professional.

Also an accomplished muralist, his works are from the county that he has been a part of for so long. He is very thankful for all the opportunities his gift has provided for him and all the friends that he has made though his inspired works.
