My first love has always been color. This has led me to experiment with various glazing formulas while serving an apprenticeship in pottery. It was also the motivation behind my work with fiber arts. With stained glass, I feel that I have found the perfect medium to express my designs. The patterns I visualize are able to be interpreted exactly onto paper and then onto glass.

At present, I am enjoying exploring what occurs at the intersection of color, pattern, and repetition. My latest designs also incorporate the use of clear art glass as negative space. This gives my work the feeling that the colors are suspended, floating in the air.

I am happy in my work. I love the process of designing a panel and then executing that design, People tell me that my pieces have "good energy". I feel blessed to have found work that I enjoy doing so much.
